When I comment on other blogs I generally do two things that may increase traffic to my blog. first I always support the owner of the blog by clicking on advertisments that interest me and I hope that if the blog owner follows the stats he will know I supported him and do the same. Secondly but not always I try to stick to blogs with subjects similar to mine and leave what I hope is good quality comments.

Making comments on blogs has lead to traffic to my web site. When commenting, I focus on a few blogs with with high profile bloggers and I make comments that add value to the conversation. I choose sites whose topics are related to my site in some way.
